Start times for all events are as follows –
0700 to 0900 and riders can leave anytime between these times[just dib first].

THE FAMILY 8MILE  1CC AND 18MILE 2 CC EVENTS WILL HAVE START TIMES BETWEEN 0900-1000 SO BRING THE KIDS BIKES AND ENJOY THE SCENERY AND ONLY £5 PER ENTRY.

to all riders. Please ensure you return your dibbers at the finish and collect your  certificate and FREE HERBALIFE RECOVERY DRINKS.!

PLEASE NOTE THE WEARING OF HELMETS IS MANDATORY AS IS DIBBING AT ALL CONTROL STATIONS

Both routes will be clearly signposted and every measure taken to ensure the yellow signs are secure .Both the 200km and 100mile routes are extremely demanding so ensure you have a drink in your bottle at the start and thereafter there are
multiple feed stations[30/60/90/110 miles] where we have excellent supplies of SIS drinks, water and an ample supply of energy bars, mars bars, kit kats and bananas will be made available to all riders. So please ensure you hydrate regularly as failure to do so will make this ride even harder than necessary and serious muscle cramp is a real possibility and your recovery will take longer. On the 160/200km routes only we have gels at cautley beck ,soulby and kirkstone pass summit.

PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR FOOD AND DRINKS STOCKS AS YOU WILL ENJOY THE RIDES MORE AND RECOVER MORE QUICKLY

We also plan to make available to all riders [at cost ]a small supply of inner tubes ,tyres, chain lub etc at each feeding station.

Please make yourself aware before leaving HQ of the key risk areas on the route by checking out the route MAP in main signing on tent and note that care needs to be taken particularly on some descents which are very fast and the highway code must be followed at all times and the local Police will be watching !.

A mobile caterer Debbie will also be available throughout the event near the start area and a wide range of foods will be made available.[take it easy on number of bacon butties you eat before the start though.]
